Hello!

I’m Alexandra and I have worked in Education since 1995! I am a qualified teacher and hold QTS plus EYTS. I have taught and led in schools, as an EYFS Lead and SENDCO and as part of SLT.

I have also taught and led in private nurseries, up to Regional Director level. I have had the pleasure of working as an associate lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and and as a consultant for BBC Bitesize.

I have also been an EY Ofsted Inspector, in order to fully understand how the process works, so that I can help settings to feel confident about leading inspections.

4 years ago, I started Marmalade Early Years Consultancy as I wanted to share strong practice with more people. Since then, Marmalade has grown and I regularly train online, face-to-face, visit schools and nurseries and speak across the UK and overseas. I LOVE inspiring other people and sharing the magic of working in Early Years. Now, I have created The Marmalade Club as an accessible space for people to tap into my training, resources and community. I hope you find it useful.
